At A Brave Space we offer online classes, in-person and online writing groups, as well as writing support for individuals and organizations. Honoring our unique voices, we write and share our stories in a supportive and generous creative community. We know that a sustainable and consistent writing practice is nourished by connecting with others, sharing our work, and supporting one another’s creative endeavors.

Dr. Liz Burke-Cravens

Founded by Liz Burke-Cravens, a poet, interdisciplinary educator, and writing coach. After completing her doctoral work on narrative approaches to personal and social transformation, she was inspired to create A Brave Space— a space where individuals are comfortable sharing their writing and growing in a community of writers, creatives, and change agents. All of her work is founded on a steadfast belief that by raising our voices and sharing our stories, we can be catalysts for change.
